What You’ll Do: In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining vehicles, performing inspections, and diagnosing faults using cutting-edge diagnostic equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting routine maintenance, repairs, and MOT preparation for various vehicles.
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults.
- Managing work allocation, prioritisation, and team schedules.
- Attending on-site breakdowns to provide efficient fault diagnosis and rectification.
- Logging jobs and managing parts requirements using handheld devices.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies across operations.
- Acting as a professional ambassador in all interactions.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an LCV Technician.
- An NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance, and Repair.
- Proven experience with diagnostic repairs and fault finding.
- A full, clean driving licence.
- The ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and stay calm under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A solid understanding of health and safety practices.
