Role Overview
- Work flexibly between Monday - Friday (07:45 - 18:30), with Thursday shifts until 20:00
- Provide chronic disease management (asthma, COPD, diabetes)
- Perform cytology screenings, vaccinations, and immunisations (travel, flu, childhood, and adult)
- Conduct infection prevention audits, wound dressings, and minor surgery assistance
- Carry out health assessments, contraceptive reviews, and health promotion initiatives
- Maintain accurate patient records and compliance with best practices
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with NMC registration
- Minimum two years of post-graduation experience in a General Practice Nurse (GPN) role
- Proven experience in chronic disease management is essential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team
- Willingness to upskill and adapt to evolving healthcare needs
