We are seeking experienced HGV Refuse Collection Drivers to join our team in Peterborough. You will play a crucial role in waste collection, ensuring the timely and safe collection of household and commercial waste. This role has early starts, working within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Assist in loading waste when required to support the team.
- Follow scheduled collection routes and ensure timely completion.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous experience in waste collection (preferred but not essential)
- A strong work ethic and a reliable team player
- £16.82 per hour with weekly pay
- Stable work with early starts
