A Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of goods, equipment, or passengers in line with company requirements and road traffic legislation. Key responsibilities include completing pre-drive vehicle checks, planning routes effectively, adhering to delivery schedules, obtaining proof of delivery where required, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Drivers are expected to represent the company professionally at all customer or public-facing points of contact. A full, valid UK driving licence is essential, and specific licence categories may be required depending on the vehicle type. Candidates should have a strong understanding of highway code, road safety, and relevant regulations. Reliability, punctuality, and a customer-focused approach are all important qualities.
