A General Labourer provides essential support across construction, warehouse, or industrial sites, carrying out a variety of manual tasks to support the smooth progress of day-to-day operations. Responsibilities may include clearing debris, assisting skilled tradespeople, loading and unloading materials, operating basic machinery, and maintaining clean and safe working environments. The role requires good physical fitness, a willingness to undertake varied manual duties, and a strong commitment to following health and safety guidelines on site. A valid CSCS card is commonly required for construction-based labouring roles. Reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to take direction effectively are key attributes. Previous labouring or manual work experience is beneficial.
