A Barista is responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and delivering a warm, welcoming experience to every customer. Working within a fast-paced café environment, this role requires expertise in preparing espresso-based drinks, teas, and other menu items to consistently high standards. Key responsibilities include operating coffee machinery, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness throughout the workspace, and keeping product knowledge up to date. Baristas are expected to engage customers with friendly, efficient service, accurately process orders using EPOS systems, and work collaboratively with the wider team during busy periods. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, possess excellent attention to detail, and thrive in a high-energy environment. Previous experience in a café or similar hospitality setting is desirable, though training is often available for enthusiastic candidates.
