A Warehouse Manager oversees the complete operational running of a warehouse facility, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective storage and dispatch of goods. Key responsibilities include managing a team of warehouse operatives and supervisors, monitoring KPIs such as accuracy, throughput, and despatch rates, implementing health and safety procedures, managing stock integrity, and liaising with transport and procurement teams. The Warehouse Manager is also responsible for labour planning, budget management, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Strong leadership capabilities, excellent organisational skills, and experience in a warehouse or logistics management role are essential. Knowledge of warehouse management systems and relevant health and safety legislation is required.
