An HGV Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods between depots, distribution hubs, and customer delivery points. Core responsibilities include conducting pre-journey vehicle checks, adhering to driver hours regulations and tachograph requirements, ensuring loads are correctly secured, and delivering excellent service to customers and receiving staff at all locations. HGV Drivers must maintain a clean driving record, demonstrate thorough knowledge of relevant transport legislation, and represent the company professionally at all times. A valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence, a current CPC qualification, and a digital tachograph card are all required. Experience driving heavy goods vehicles in a professional capacity is essential.
