A Forklift Driver operates materials handling equipment within a warehouse or manufacturing facility to move, stack, and organise goods safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include loading and unloading vehicles, placing pallets in racking, conducting stock transfers, and completing daily vehicle inspection checks. Accuracy in picking and placing stock, combined with strict adherence to health and safety regulations, is fundamental to the role. Candidates must hold a valid counterbalance or reach truck licence and have demonstrable experience operating forklift equipment in a commercial setting. The ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining full awareness of colleagues and pedestrians in the working area is essential.
