A Service Colleague plays a key role in creating a positive shopping environment, assisting customers throughout their visit and supporting the overall performance of the store. Duties include operating checkouts, helping customers locate products, replenishing shelves, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety standards. Service Colleagues may also assist with self-checkout supervision, handling customer queries, and supporting special events or seasonal periods. The role demands a friendly and approachable manner, strong teamwork skills, and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during busy trading hours. Experience in a customer-facing role is helpful but not always essential, as comprehensive training is provided. Candidates should be reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent service on every customer interaction.
