Partnership Coordinator at Starting Point Recruitment, Birmingham / Walsall
Salary: £26,000k
Type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
Location: Birmingham / Walsall
As a Partnership Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our employability programs are fully integrated with local services and aligned with community needs. You will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key stakeholders such as Job Centre Plus, IAPT, drug and alcohol services, and other relevant local providers.
The role requires a keen eye for detail, ensuring that training and services delivered through partnership agencies are accurately recorded and shared promptly via internal systems. This will enable colleagues to easily refer participants to the appropriate resources. Additionally, you will support our key stakeholder relationship with Job Centre Plus across the delivery area, requiring visibility, engagement, and serving as the face of Triage, along with our suite of programs, skills, and services.
By keeping our operational teams informed with up-to-date information, you will empower them to identify gaps in provision and source alternative solutions, ensuring comprehensive support for our participants.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and Manage Partnerships: Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with local services and stakeholders to align our programs with community needs.
- Service Gap Analysis and Provision: Continuously assess and address gaps in local service provision, implementing alternative solutions where necessary.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead stakeholder engagement efforts, ensuring regular communication, collaboration, and resolution of partnership queries.
- Record Maintenance and Data Accuracy: Maintain up-to-date records of service providers, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for operational teams.
- Strategic Input and Networking: Contribute to strategy meetings, represent the organisation at local boards/forums, and identify opportunities for business development.
Skills:
- Coaching and Influencing Experience: Demonstrated ability and experience in coaching and influencing others through previous work (Essential).
- Target Achievement: Strong track record of successfully working to targets (Essential).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Experience working with external stakeholders to jointly support participant progression, including employers, local authorities, health services, and voluntary sector organisations (Essential).
- Caseload Management: Experience in managing and progressing a caseload of participants to meet their agreed goals (Desirable).
- Customer Service Excellence: Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service and providing high-quality advice and guidance to vulnerable participants (Essential).
- Welfare to Work Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Welfare to Work and Employability sectors, including the impact of mental and physical health on employability (Essential).
