As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for our employees. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payment to our staff while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. Working Instructions of Payroll Administrator:
Pay Rate: 
Location: Walsall
Hours: Part-time, temp, 4-6 hours per day, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for employees on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including time and attendance data.
  • Calculate and process any special pay adjustments, bonuses, and overtime.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax and labor laws.
  • Assist with resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee inquiries.
  • Generate payroll reports and analysis as needed.
  • Utilise Microsoft Excel for data analysis, tracking, and reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure employee data is accurate.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience in payroll administration or a related role is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of payroll software and systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with payroll tax regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours (4-6 hours per day, Monday to Friday).
  • Must be based in Walsall or the surrounding area.
